Next language to learn- c or c++?
C++ would be better to learn. It is much more widely used.
Reply:I'd *definitely* go for C, then move onto C++.
Reply:If the choice is between C and C++, choose C++. It's still going to

be pretty similar to Java, and they're both great languages if you're

looking for jobs. Java is also a very broad and deep subject. Consider

mastering it, and not just dabbling.

If you're just into experimenting with languages for the intellectual thrill,

there are some completely different concepts out there. Try Prolog

or APL if you want to fry your mind.
Reply:I would suggest that you learn more Java, because it has libraries for everything, or, since you are good with html and css, expand your web development skills and learn JavaScript.

JavaScript runs in browsers and allows you to make dynamic web pages. You could also learn PHP, Python or Ruby, scripting languages that are very useful for Web programming. These are fun and relatively easy to learn.

Yes, learn C++ if you are very dedicated and ambitious--it is a tough language, but I think it will not offer you anything that Java doesn't have except perhaps headaches.

I am a Java web developer who uses Python, Ruby and JavaScript.
